Mr. Musgrove’s range of experience allows him to work with the firm’s corporate, estate planning and litigation departments. He has successfully represented individuals, investors and businesses in connection with corporate and partnership formations, buy-sell agreements, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, real estate transactions, business contracts, succession planning, and estate planning. He has litigated hundreds of cases, successfully representing clients in the areas of general civil litigation, business litigation, medical malpractice, employment and labor law, commercial and residential landlord/tenant disputes, and personal injury.
Prior to joining Preovolos & Associates, Mr. Musgrove worked in the civil litigation departments at Tuverson & Hillyard and Lotz, Doggett & Rawers. He managed medical malpractice defense cases at Kramer deBoer Endelicato & Keane. And immediately prior to joining the team at Preovolos & Associates, Mr. Musgrove worked in business law and managed the estate planning department at Getz & Associates. Mr. Musgrove earned his Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science at San Diego State University. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California, where he was also the Chapter President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. While in school he interned at the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office and the San Diego District Attorney’s Office where he received extensive litigation training. He also volunteered his time with the school’s legal aid services program which assisted indigent clients in the community. He continues his legal education by attending seminars, workshops, and classes on a regular basis. Mr. Musgrove is a member of the State Bar of California and an active member of the San Diego County and North County Bar Associations, maintaining membership in the Estate Planning and Trust & Probate Law sections. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central and Eastern Districts of California. Mr. Musgrove is active with several business networking groups throughout the community, and is a member of the Health Care Advisory Committee, an affiliate of the Palomar Pomerado Health Foundation.
Mr. Musgrove enjoys life with his wife and three children. In addition to coaching his daughter's sports teams, he enjoys outdoor activities and leisurely backyard barbeques. |
