Mr. Jassim manages the firm’s litigation department. He has successfully represented clients in the areas of general civil litigation, trust and estate litigation, business litigation, intellectual property, professional negligence, employment and labor law, administrative law and proceedings, commercial and residential landlord/tenant disputes, construction litigation, real estate litigation and transactions, criminal law, family law, and personal injury.
Prior to joining Preovolos & Associates, Mr. Jassim was an associate with the law firm of Rosenstein & Hitzeman in Temecula, California, working in general business litigation, business formation, transactional law, taxation law, bankruptcy, trademark and copyright, trust and estate planning.

Mr. Jassim earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in school, he interned at an administrative law firm specializing in state mandates. After graduation, he interned with the San Francisco District Attorney’s office in their Consumer Fraud Department. He continues his legal education by attending seminars, workshops and classes on a regular basis.

Mr. Jassim is a member of the State Bar of California and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central and Southern Districts. He is an active member of the American Bar Association and the San Diego County Bar Association, maintaining membership in the Civil Litigation section.

Mr. Jassim is an avid guitar player and musician. In addition to music, his hobbies include travel, exercise, and outdoor activities.
