Mr. Martin manages the firm’s tax and financial departments. He provides clients with a full range of tax services including tax planning, return preparation, accounting and auditing services.

Prior to joining Preovolos & Associates, Mr. Martin worked in public accounting for several years, servicing clients in various industries such as non-profit, local government, special districts and small business. He spent several years as Controller for the Water Replenishment District of Southern California where he served as part of the Executive Management Team, developing and implementing policy and directing the District’s financial plans. Mr. Martin also enjoyed several years with his own successful public accounting consulting practice, providing business and individual clients with tax planning and tax preparation services.

Mr. Martin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration from California State University San Bernardino, going on to earn his license as a Certified Public Accountant. He continues his education by attending seminars, workshops and classes on a regular basis.

Mr. Martin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Martin enjoys life with his wife and baby son. They are extremely involved with youth organizations and spend many hours every year volunteering in service to the local community.
